Dog Bite & Animal Attacks
Maryland has complex laws concerning pet owner liability for animal attacks, especially when it comes to dogs, as the law and insurance coverage may differ depending on the breed of dog.
Animal attacks may result in significant damage to you and a loved one, including extensive bodily injuries, medical expenses, permanent and disfiguring scaring, mental and emotional health injuries, and harm to a beloved pet.
Silverman Thompson Partner Jason Wasserman has decades of experience successfully resolving cases in a variety of unfortunate animal attack situations, including:
- Children’s birthday parties
- Visits to a farm or petting zoo
- Attacks by a pet owned by a close family member or friend
- Attacks from pets roaming free, off-leash, or who escaped their home
- Attacks due to a bat infestation
