Meredith McKinnon is an associate in the Firm’s business litigation practice group. Known for her thorough and detail-oriented research, writing, and critical problem solving, Ms. McKinnon effectively communicates with and advocates for her clients.
Since joining the Firm in 2022, some of Ms. McKinnon’s most notable case results include obtaining a $40,000 pre-trial judgment for a leasing company in a collections matter and negotiating a $100,000 settlement for an ESI Discovery vendor against two of the biggest law firms in the U.S.
Before joining the Firm, Mrs. McKinnon was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Robert J. Thompson of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County.
Ms. McKinnon graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She was a distinguished scholar of the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society and served as Assistant Managing Editor for the University of Baltimore Law Review. In addition, Ms. McKinnon worked as a Student Attorney in the Criminal Practice Clinic where she represented criminal defendants, served as a Research Assistant, and served as a Teaching Assistant for a Business Organizations course.
Ms. McKinnon previously worked as a law clerk for Silverman Thompson, from January through May of 2021. She also interned for the Honorable Alexander Wright, Jr., of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.
