Silverman Thompson Partner Jodie Buchman has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Itineris, Inc., which is a comprehensive program that provides life-building and goal-reaching services to people impacted by autism. Itineris continues to be the only agency in the greater Baltimore region that exclusively supports this growing and under-served population.

Autism now affects 1 in 44 children born in the U.S.

When those children turn 21 they lose almost all of their support. Itineris is designed to support adults on the autism spectrum to build on the progress they made in the school systems, to further their journey toward greater independence and to increase acceptance by the community at large.

As a “work-first” agency, Itineris provides customized opportunities for individuals on the autism spectrum to obtain gainful employment and to participate meaningfully in all aspects of adult life.
