Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley has appointed Silverman Thompson partner Brian G. Thompson to the Trial Courts Judicial Nominating Commission for Baltimore County.

The commission meets and interviews potential candidates when a vacancy arises in its circuit or district court. After a vote, the commission sends the names of qualified nominees to the governor for consideration and appointment.
