Silverman Thompson Reverses Lower Court: Wins Unanimous Decision in Maryland’s Highest Court

Today the Maryland Court of Appeals issued a unanimous decision in the matter of Big Louie Bail Bonds, LLC. v. State of Maryland. Maryland’s high Court held that the Circuit Court for Baltimore County erred in denying a motion to strike forfeiture of bond where defendants failure to appear was the result of deportation.
