Steven D. Silverman Serves as a Panelist at the UCLA Labor, Entertainment & Sports Conference

Silverman Thompson managing partner, Steven Silverman, served as a Panelist at the 2015 UCLA Institute for Research and Employment conference on Labor, Entertainment, & Sports. His talk, “Full Court Press: Athlete Litigation as the Catalyst for Health and Safety Reforms in Sports” discussed the health and safety of athletes. Mr. Silverman is currently lead counsel for plaintiffs in the high profile NFL Pain Killer Class Action Litigation, and he is co-counsel in the NHL Concussion Litigation. Although still in litigation, both cases have raised public awareness of abuses in professional sports.
